"The instructor was extremely engaging and kind. He shows that he personally cares for his students AND creates a welcoming classroom environment by being open and casual with the class. Specifically, the instructor mentions students by name, offers in–class opportunities for questions about the course, responds to confusion about course material with grace and understanding, and is generally an agreeable person. These were the most valuable to my experience because I felt I was not just a name on a blackboard roster, but rather I was someone who he valued and wanted to teach."
"I looked forward to every single class despite the late time simply because his teaching style! The professors personality and energy is excellent and it was so much fun speaking to him after class or before class. He was a fantastic listener and really dived well into students questions and was not afraid to share how some economic ideas were incorrect or harsh. It feels really good learning from a professor who values kindness!"
